BlazeBands

I have recently started walking and biking again after a period of inactivity. Okay, that period was actually years. I hate exercise, and I hate any form of perspiring, so I’ve avoided both for as long as I possibly could. Now, though, I don’t really have a choice. Since I am pushing middle age (my daughter and I argue about exactly where I am in middle age, but I think I am not quite there yet) I have realized that if I don’t get out and move around now, it will be much more difficult when I get older. Like, when I really hit middle age. So I have started walking, and I am even taking my bike out for a ride every so often. The issue that I am encountering, though, is that the best times for me to walk or ride, because of the heat and my sweat-phobia, are in the morning or late in the evening. These are also some of the most dangerous times to be on the shoulder of the road. Visibility is very low at dusk and at dawn, and the light can be tricky for drivers. That is why I faithfully wear my Blaze Bands Reflective Wristbands.

I was a little self-conscious about wearing reflective bands at first. But then once I thought about it and realized that my safety was more important than my vanity, I broke down and started wearing them. I also realized that when I am driving and I see people wearing reflective bands, I don’t think they look silly, I think that they are very smart for protecting themselves. So many accidents are caused by the driver not seeing a walker, jogger, or biker, and BlazeBands Reflective Wristbands are the answer to your safety question. I love them! They are made out of bright yellow elastic with the reflective strip running through the middle. They are secured with Velcro, so they are adjustable by size and I have never lost one. I wear them around my ankles when I am riding my bike to increase my visibility.

The best thing about BlazeBands is their level of reflectiveness. You can be seen by motorists as far as 700 feet away, giving them plenty of time to stop or go around you if necessary. These would also work great for a motorcyclist – even though a motorcycle has its own lights, the more reflective you can make yourself, the safer you are. And they work in the day or the night.

For your own safety and the safety of your family, get everyone a pair of BlazeBands Reflective Wristbands today. They are a simple, inexpensive way to provide safety to your family and make your exercising safe (if not perspiration free)!
